MARK SMITH
I received a degree in Media Engineering (film, computer graphics & computing) from
the University of East Anglia, where my thesis was on the removal of camera shake.
The MA in Hypermedia Studies I am reading at Westminster only fills part of my time;
I study part-time. The remainder of my working hours are spent working for
pupiline.net. Pupiline are a company dedicated
to the support of 11-16 year old students, through the web. I create interactive
content (mostly web friendly movie clips) for them and support the general
development and direction of the company.
On graduation I would like to work in independent film circles, exploiting the
non-linear nature of our creations at the hypermedia research centre. Alternatively,
if I decide that I want to earn some money, I will look for work in interactive
TV; We'll just have to wait and see...
