The The Hypermedia Research Centre is a research group composed of academics, artists, artisans, designers and writers. We are based in the School of Communication and Creative Industries at Westminster University in London, England.

Founded in 1995, the group has consistently maintained an international reputation in the fields of Interactive Music, New Media Arts, Digital Economy and Open Source software development.

As well as carrying out academic research and working in the commercial sector, we teach on the MA in Hypermedia Studies, the PhD in Communications, the BA in Contemporary Media Practice and other degree courses at the University of Westminster.

Rachel Collinson joins the HRC as the new module leader of the Virtual Communities module.

•The 7 year retrospective of the HRC is being shown at the ICA on Tuesday the 13th May, in conjunction with Cybersalon.

•A Wiki is an online system allowing users to build, add and edit a site in an easy and organic way. There is a new Hypermedia degree Wiki. Chck it out and get involved here
